I've been gone for a long long time and am back for a really short while. Life is currently whirring at great speeds in no particular direction and towards no particular end state! I dont know whether I'm going or coming but atleast one good thing to happen to me in the last few weeks - is a proposal I made to a professor that she took so seriously that she's forwarded it to the Under Secretary General of Security at the United Nations.
I'd frankly thought it was a terrible project, thought my work was shoddy and half hearted and was hoping that she wouldn't tear holes into the damn thing - but I guess we all underestimate ourselves.
The Question now is - will the DSS actually implement the proposal even in bits and obviously not in totality! I'd post the proposal, but its 4 pages long and I don't think anyone outside the DSS or my professor would be interested in reading my gibberish!
On another note, I'm moving out of the backwaters at last! Out of Syracuse to the wilds of Washington DC where going on Safari involves a very short trip up 'the hill'! I thought I'd head to civilization, but that is a pipe dream for now! The wilds of lobby groups and politicians, aid workers and UNtypes is my future for now! How exciting!
